Another great resource

Check out Dr John McDougall’s website While I don’t agree with Dr McDougall’s advocacy of a starch-based diet because of its relatively low nutrient per calorie density (compared to a diet based on vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts and seeds),  his website is a treasure-trove of well-researched articles, great recipes and inspiring case histories.

Saturday night is the one night of the week when I don’t have to think about what we’re having for dinner. It’s the only day I don’t work from home, which gives me a great excuse to leave dinner plans in the capable (or culpable?) hands of my partner, John. Fortunately, he can cook. Tonight he made a sensational vegan lasagna with a red lentil and vegie filling. We had it with a spinach salad with lots of sun-dried tomatoes. I’ve told him he has to share the lasagna recipe for tomorrow’s post. Sadly for him, he is a one-fingered typist so it could take a while ;).

Visit my website for more info and great recipes.

Be careful telling people that John can cook. Someone might try to steal him. Hide that light under your bushel. ha ha

  2. My secret is to make all the meals that I cook so yummy he won’t want to be stolen!!!
